Going Back

It just so happened. I was working on a blue + red color study and it just came to me. The Salamander was never complete... His form strongly suggests a circle, and so I couldn't resist and glued one to another. This may be a beginning of a new way of illustration for me. 

By the way this is a continuation of my work for a passed illustration competition for the cover of Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. Too bad it's over and done, I would love to submit this piece instead.

A few months back I worked on illustration for a competition for Ray Bradbury's book. It was a lot of fun, and a good experience for me. I hope to come across more competitions like this in the near future.

Green Morning Update

Slowly but surely I'm making improvement in my shop and my blog.

You may have noticed my new banner. Finally it's done and I actually like how it looks. My earlier attempt ended up being rejected after all. Oh well. 

*** Actually there has been at least two attempts that I posted here. First- turned out too stiff; and Second- was kinda hard to understand.

New Logo

A new banner/logo done. It will be going up as soon as I figure out the sizing. And an animation just for fun.

Another thing to get carried away with...

Found this awesome book in the library. The reading is confusing, but there is an endless resource for inspiration! The Mayan glyphs are just amazing!!!
