First Friday Finds

From time to time I go to this thing called First Friday. It's an arts and crafts festival that's held on a first Friday of every month. This time we found some interesting things.

By complete accident we came across this cool stand with a whole bunch of sketchbooks! Whoa, jackpot!!! They had so many different ones that I didn't know what to do with myself... This one has a soft cover, good paper inside, and lots of pages. It turns out that the guys selling these are actually from Utah, and they run a "global network of artists who create art for the sketchbooks". Anyone can participate by submitting their artwork. Designs that are scored high enough get printed, and the artist receives percentage of the sale. I love things like that, one day I shall too submit a design :)
Here is their website.

Next, we went to The Corner Store. It is the best in Las Vegas! It's a kind of place where you don't need to buy anything to enjoy your time. Just walking around inside is enough to get all types of inspired. Well... I bought the only thing that I could afford, these tiny memo clips... We'll see what good use I put them to.

(Next time I go to FF I will surely bring my camera...)
