Being so excited for the coming out movie I'm re-reading The Hobbit. I love the illustrations done by the author. They are so simply graphic and right to the point, very much like the book.
So far I love Chapter V: Riddles in the Dark. Classic. I wanted to share my favorite riddle (by Gollum):
This thing all things devours:
Birds, beasts, trees, flowers;
Gnaws iron, bites steel;
Grinds hard stones to meal;
Slays king, ruins town,
And beats high mountain down.
What is it?
Answer: TIME
I'm slowly reading it! Hope after the school is over, I can read more - and that is tomorrow! Woot woot! :)
