This was done for one of my elective classes. Here is the project statement:
"The project called for an "interactor" piece that would cause some-kind of interaction between two people. Inspired by work of French artist due Jean-Claude and Christo, I decided to use similar concept of covering of an object, a skylight, and later revealing it, as it is temporary. The drapes hang from the edges covering the skylight completely, as they are meant to capture and display natural daylight.
Unintentionally, the installation acted as a divided of the long and empty hallway, by this creating sense of privacy on both ends. Also, the project seemed to have changed lighting perception of the whole space around the drapery, as well as effecting noise transmission, making the enclosed area quiet and private. "
